Our Story...
In the summer of 2012, Jake and Julia found themselves at UNCW for freshman orientation. In a crowd of eager teenagers buzzing about the school year to come, the two quickly found comfort in each other's unpolished banter and comedic remarks. As orientation came to a close, they friended each other on Facebook and promised to totally hang out once the school year started. Neither intended to follow through... that would've been *awkward*. When it came time for move-in day, Jake and Julia were busy settling into their respective living situations on campus. As fate would have it, they were both placed in University Apartments Building D. Over the years to come, they remained close friends— witnessing each other's cringiest moments, questionable life choices, and triumphs.
Fast forward to today, Jake, Julia, and their dog Roo live together in Wilmington. These two kids are now adults stumbling through life together (and currently trying to figure out how to plan a wedding).
